Oy Geeringh is 37% done with Mystic (Nightblade Epic #2)

I'm having a really hard time with this book. I didn't care for the 1st of the series but thought maybe the 2nd one will be better. NOT!!! I don't think I can continue when other books are calling for me to read them.
