Sad to say, the story has not been keeping my attention as well as I hoped.

Relstuart is on page 112 of 688 of Saving the Jews: Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Holocaust
Not sure about this one. The author is such an obvious fanboy of FDR I don't know if I can trust him to properly weigh the criticism on the way FDR handled the Holocaust. Some of his own government members who worked closely with him were critical.

Relstuart is reading Behind Enemy Lines: The True Story of a French Jewish Spy in Nazi Germany
Early in the book the author talks about a neighbor girl calling her a "dirty Jew". Her response was to smash the bag of eggs she was carrying on her head. :D

Relstuart is on page 80 of 704 of Clementine Churchill: The Biography of a Marriage – An Affectionate and Candid Portrait by Their Daughter of a Shy, Passionate, Lionhearted Woman
There was a young man in love with Clementine. He sent her a flower every day for close to a year (IIRC). They hung out together, he sent her books and other little gifts. But, according to the story the daughter relates, she never loved him. That's just sad.

"A common failure to understand that our own world is also merely a "period" of intellectual history, with many unquestioned assumptions that later generations will find absurd."But this is a very hard lesson to learn in an age that believes that its rapid technological development must be accompanied with like progress in morality and wisdom."

Relstuart is reading The Forge of Christendom: The End of Days and the Epic Rise of the West
"...Wooden, toppeled from his throne, had been banished from Middle Earth." Seriously? So far I'm impressed with the knowledge of the author but he appears to be using language that is biasedly Christian and uses non scholarly language like the above in the midst of his serious information.

Relstuart is on page 227 of 384 of Soldat: Reflections of a German Soldier, 1936-1949
Interesting but not as gripping as The Forgotten Soldier which is the seminal work (IMHO) on surviving on the Eastern front in WWII. Overall worth the read but The Forgotten Soldier should come first.

Interesting way to tell a story. Each part of the life of Arthur is written by someone else. So far it is excellent though.

I was expecting more examples of Chivalry in action. Mostly just talking about talking about it. Hopefully it will continue to improve.
