I must say Terri Blackstock tells a good story, a little preachy in parts? but it's all good. Good book, got going right from the start, a page turner, an ordinary family confronted with extraordinary circumstances, somehow pulls you in, good writer.

Gosh, I don't want this book to end

Sorry, I just couldn't get into this book. I tried. I just read a murder mystery that I finished in 4 days, it was so good. This one? meh. I'm a writer and poet from North Carolina, so you'd figure I might like it. Sorry. Maybe I'll try one of her nonfiction books.

took me a minute to get into this, but once in, it's great, very fast read

I'm really enjoying this. Some readers dislike it for their reasons, while I like it for mine. After reading the Ivory Carver's trilogy, by Sue Harrison, this is fast-paced, a good story told well. As the old dictum goes, there's no accounting for taste. Now on p134, just keeps getting better

Still loving this book

Gosh, how could anyone not like this? How could it have less than 4 stars?

I've read some books told from a wonderful, unique point of view recently, that should be savored. The White Dawn was one. The Red Tent is another. So I'm not rushing through this one, and enjoying not rushing.

First part interesting, drags after page 55ish? but am optimistic it gets better soon. Oh, and the poetry is good.
