I think the chapter 'Gawain, Ewain and Marhalt' might be the best chapter of any book I've ever read...

Already better than Toll the Hounds. No more of that insufferable prose in Kruppe's voice.

Decided to binge the last two books or I'll never have the motivation to return to this convoluted series.

As exciting as this climax is, it's wasted on me, because I literally have no idea what is going on in this book.

Halfway through and it's finally getting engaging. Yeesh.

Struggling to get through this. I've come too far in the series to give up now though...

'Book 2' really slammed the brakes on the story's pace unfortunately. I might be generous and still give it 5 stars for all the juicy ideas though. The concept of 'Missionaria Protectiva' is absolutely genius.
