The sampler is for several books in the High Republic era. Currently on chapter four of "Light of the Jedi" and it is really good. The full book came out today and it's already downloaded to my audible account so I'm glad I can continue reading it when I finish the sample!

Easy read, but I'm wanting to know a lot more about how the Society was formed. All the characters seem like they don't think for themselves at all. I'm hoping that improves. But I like Xander and Cassia, so that's a plus.

Fairly interesting, but jumping between so far...6 different characters with 3 being completely unrelated is a bit annoying. Pulling information from the comic books to go into the novel is also annoying as I haven't read them. I want the lore though so I'm going to make it through this book, I just hope the pace improves soon.

There's more mystery to this book than any of the Percy Jackson books. I had a little trouble getting into it but now that I'm into the story I'm really enjoying it.

I'm not sold on the story yet and I think part of that is because of the abrupt chapters. The scenes switch so quickly it just doesn't seem to flow as well as the earlier books yet.
