I grew up reading Christie, Sayers, Conan Doyle, but somehow never read Rex Stout. This is one of the most original mysteries I've come across, plotwise, but somehow not really for me.

The book equivalent of going to Maker Faire, seeing a lot of cool tech stuff that you only half understand, and getting a surface view of it. Worth reading, but I'd hoped for more depth. Favorite part: Gujarati farmers beat Monsanto at their own game.

Picked this up from a drugstore rack as a fluffy vacation read and it more than delivered. A charming friends-to-lovers story, and though the hero is a younger son, he's studying to be a doctor, which is a nice relief from all the endless dukes.
