Ok. I gave up on this book because of too much mechanics/rail road enginnering talk. The rest is good, but I run out of patience. I loved Franzen's "Freedom", but haven't finished this one.

got it through "Little Free Library" ..

What is is about Scandinavian thrillers??? the good news this is the first one for me out of nine in the series.....

Why in the US are we getting books published months after they are available all over the world? is it so harder to translate into A. English then into Chinese or Polish?

Deeply moving book.

I am enjoying this book much more than I expected. nothing better than a good book with 7 more parts to go....

Why, oh, why have I started this book? nothing will get done again until I finish it....

Political gossiping on the highest level, writeen like a political thriller. Yummy!

This book is incredible!

I am taking brakes between chapters to read some fiction. since this is a my own book, it has to yield sometimes to the library books:)))

The chapter about Columbus is fascinating!

This is a slow read for me. A lot of unusual vocabulary, short weird sentences. But I will finish it sooner or later!

I'm reading this second time and I am not dissapointed!

I won't be reading too much in the near future, as we are getting ready for a Big Move... Instead of books - boxes.

Nillson is a Swedish writer, who hasn't been translated into English yet. What a shame!

So far I'm enjoying this on the intelectual level, but do not really feel it. But I am going to finish it.
