I've been reading this since early December, 2015, one story at a time. Good fun!

Thoroughly enjoying this well-edited and referenced book. The way they reconcile their faith perspectives is a model for creating understanding between people.

Only into second chapter, but enjoyed his Steve Jobs bio so much, I'm looking forward to his take on Old Ben.

Issacson writes a very accessible, yet scholarly, biography. Franklin is revealed as a long-faithful subject of the throne, heartbroken by the ultimate need for revolution, but fiercely resolved for independence once it became clear that was the only route with a future.

Thus far, typical Berry: writing that uses plain language, thought that is both deep and broad, and a vision for a land and a people that America can and ought to become.
