Gosh this is strange

Part 4, end of chapter 3 - What a self centred, selfish, spoilt brat of a man-boy Raskolnikov is! Everyone running after him trying to make sure he's okay and he wafts around "leave me now, I want to be alone"...after unprovoked double murder... Not sure if his pretending to be mad after his illness is becoming an actuality, with all the lies and thinking he's doing. It certainly sounds like he's losing the plot!

What the hell am I reading? Basically a list of people describing how they're commiting suicide. Not sure how much more I can do, it's depressing

Really struggling to engage and I'm 3/4 through. Teetering on whether to continue or not. So dull.

Female audio narrator is so bloody irritating, insisting on doing Sylvester McCoy's Doctor - Scottish accent and overdone rolling rrrrrrrrrrs included. Wouldn't mind she's pretty good the rest of the time and I'm persevering because the story is good.but putting on the accent and rolling the rrrs. Jesus. I just had to say this somewhere as it's so grating!!!

Fantastic book, written in such an engaging way, feel like I'm in the west wing right there with them all. Scarily it's reminding me a lot of where I work... Not sure I'd call the book enlightening, more just further unbelievable and frightening validation of what I'm reading every day.

Was looking forward to this as got it on the back of Stephen king's recommendation but it's not working for me... Think because I've got the audible version and the adult narrator is just dire. Don't think I can continue...

First third of this book was great, then it started to get odd but still enjoyable.... From half way (perhaps I've not concentrated enough but...) I'm not that sure what's happening and gradually losing interest. Don't want it to be another DNF. What am I missing, it's got good reviews!

Two books done, one to go. Great stories!

First book completed, very good, enjoyed story. Need break before move to book 2, to appreciate each story.

Ugh. upto chapter 6....again.... for about the 10th time. Goal Of The day, get past chapter 7. Fgs. please. get. past. chapter. bloody. 7.

Started this late Feb 1998 but going into labour with my daughter and get birth on 3rd March, made me lose the thread of the story somewhat.... 8 weeks later went to see Titanic at the cinema and now 20 years later, settling for some unfinished business.....

Wasn't sure about the narrator at first, influenced befote I'd even started by some reviews but quickly got into this and am thoroughly enjoying it up to now, great story

Was looking forward to this as sounded great. It started okay but about 1/3 way through to now really not too clear what's happening. Google and Googler are the most common words in the story. some sort of mission is happening, immortality has been mentioned. Am I missing something as I'm frustrated with this one?
