I thought Lila was suppose to solve this mystery. She hasn't been doing any of that for awhile now, just helping her family's restaurant not get tanked by the health inspector and making all kinds of clumsy mistakes that not even an amateur sleuth will do. I expected better from her.

Lila's family sure are good at interpreting and analyzing the crime facts. It's like they're doing her homework for her

Argh I'm tired of Lilia's inefficient way of handling things. If you're waiting for your lawyer then wait for your lawyer first before speaking to the cop! Anyone who watches enough cop drama shows would know that! She put this on herself while playing detective, and she's bad at that too!

How convenient it is to know someone who is a lawyer, a nurse, and your best friend/sidekick to investigate a murder. It sounds too convenient

Do we really need another senseless violence just to show how badass the character is? I mean that last fight scene was just brutal even for Mia

Theseus is a dick for leaving Ariadne behind on that island without even a note. I hope she learns to dump him

Looks like everyone is trying to write the next big Song of Achilles. I'm 9 chapters in and I'm getting pretty tired of Ariadne as a wilting flower in front of Theseus. Don't like the writing either, too poetic like how many different ways can you say Ariadne was choosing Theseus over Crete due to her feelings for him. I just read a whole paragraph about it.

Ooo things are getting interesting. I never loked Merecot but I like her character and how she moves the plot along

I think this book might get me out of my slump!

Ok it was so obvious from chapter 15 that Max is suspicious and it doesn't help that he is being a jerk to Nora and yet she still sticks by him? Trust your guts girl! And now he and Adrianne are conspiring together too...

Max is clearly suspicious. Too bad she trusts him too much. Why does the female lead always have to trust the male lead so much? I mean its so obvious when he doesn't answer her calls and changes his number. The clues are all there and she ignores them!

I like how finn is trying everything he could to fix his family relationships and patch things up even though someone out there wants him killed

Sara Stanley/story girl is nothing like the Sara Stanley from The Road to Avonlea.

At first after reading the synopsis I was going to like this book but after reading ahead in Caroline's story, I'm not so sure anymore.

Its a good thing I like Marissa's writing because the plot is getting a little dull. I'm over 100 pages and I read about Cath wanting to open her bakery and avoiding the King's proposal. I want to get back to the jabberwocky!

This narrator reminds me of the narrator in The Dog in the Nighttime. I wonder if Charlie is autistic? It's hard to tell as I don't personally know anyone who is to tell

A girl dressed up as a boy tries to be friend with a gay guy after turning him down does not sound good either...I feel bad for the gay guy who is going to find out he was crushing on a girl

Well that last chapter escalated quickly. Although this story of a girl dressing up as a boy is not going to end well because she will eventually be discovered
