I don't understand why people like this book. It is a combination of good advice, weird advice, and good and bad psychologizing. The writing is a bit of a slog and I found Dr. Brazelton's way of talking about his practice, children, and their parents odd. Some of the advice is outdated at this point. There are better options out there.
