Wait a minute. Zombies??? Really? 🤦‍♀️ Not sure how this is going to play out, but come on.

This is pretty intense and riveting so far. I am hoping for some more character development as I go, as it's mostly plot-driven up to now.

Wow, I cannot put this down. The main protagonist, who also happens to be the villain, is so infuriating. Her hypocrisy and entitlement are out of this world. I can't wait for her to get her just desserts.

Wow. This is so clever. And it would be easy to miss how profound it really is, because the story is so good. This novel questions our human nature on so many levels. I can't put it down.

Okay. This is gorgeously written, but painfully, painfully slow. I like how the main character thinks, analyzes, and evaluates concepts, if only he was not almost exclusively talking about faith.

Oh wow. It was a bit of a slow start, but the writing is unbelievable throughout and I'm loving every page now. What an excellent book.

Adichie is such a compelling writer. All her stories draw me in as a reader.

Oof. Everybody I know seems to love this novel, but I find it quite tedious so far. I'm a third of the way through and finally it seems that we are getting somewhere.
