This book has remained on a dusty shelf since around 2006. It will remain there because oh my good Goddess is it boring. I understand that it is a literary masterpiece, but…

I still have not yet touched this book again.

Perhaps it’s because I do not want to see my own emotions ripped apart and open, my own conscience and consciousness oozing about, did I have a hand in my own fucked up view on men? (Probably, but also no.)

(I know logically it’s not her fault it’s not my fault )and maybe I’ll finish the book maybe I won’t.

Currently listening to this via audiobook! As I need audiobooks to fall asleep now. It is an interesting premise, but the book mentions and goes into detail ; animal death and abuse of an animal corpse, it also mentions rape. But i do sort of have to give the author an odd kudos or maybe I’m just desensitized….no I’m just desensitized and have pushed my tra-ANYWAY, I haven’t finished the book yet;

I’m still trying to get through this book. Between the pandemic, and my mental health...this topic is heavy. Ironically I like mystery, so...

I’m listening to the audiobook, Grace Gummer is narrating it. So far it sounds like she is lamenting from a diary. I have heard this book packs a punch. 15 hours to go...
