I have read Fearless and Breathless.

Just starting this book (read first 2 chapters) and it may take awhile to read since it is over 700 pages long. Enjoying it so far.

Haven't got to the issues yet. Book has focused so far on mechanics of voting (how to actually vote) and whether Christians should be involved with politics.

I just happened to start reading "Lord of the Flies" at the same time as "Night of the Purple Moon". It is going to be interesting to see how the two stories of children in worlds without adults are alike/differ.

Have already found a lot to ponder in just the first chapter dealing with the 10th commandment - You shall not covet. Never fully thought about the fact that our whole advertising industry is based on getting all of us to covet.

I like practical application for our lives at the end of the chapter as well. The suggestion to prevent coveting is to "cultivate contentment" and specific actions are suggested.

Feels odd to be reading a physical book - has been a long time LOL!
