Bro is still creepy, and I am still trucking through this audio book. I wish I’d been able to get a kindle copy through Libby, because I’m having a bit of a hard time committing to listening to this audio, but fortunately the book is still interesting me enough to keep going! 😤

Started this on audio because I had a long flight and managed to stow my kindle away 😢, but I will say that this story has me hooked and it shouldn’t surprise me, because people can be pretty insane, but the dude in this…😳

I’m not sure if I missed something, but I feel like I’m just reading about a rather unremarkable 90’s/early aughts’ childhood with their slightly more remarkable/slightly absent parents…again, am I missing something?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Apparently I did not read the book summary, because I was starting to think this story sounded a lot like Pride and Prejudice…I then checked the synopsis and yep, it does state that it is a reimagining of P&P, lol.

Having gone into this book somewhat blind (I don’t remember what initially drew my interest), I’m still waiting for something…anything interesting to happen…
