Ah ha! This one is fun so far. Both main characters are realistic. The situation of their employment is not - and that is lovely. Holt holds back deep description until you just have to have it. Then BLAMO - next chapter. Is it sci-fi? Magic? History? Crazy? Still no idea. But, it's still fun to tredge on and find out!

I have to say this one was more disturbing than entertaining. while I enjoyed it, I had a hard time coming back to it. maybe we readers DO identify w the characters here. maybe we're afraid we're the villains.

so far it's all over the place. a little too much info on the back story. I get it, life is hard.

fun read and refreshingly complex in dealing w multiplying time-lines.
