Really enjoying this.

I’m done with this. I get nothing out of it. I almost never give up on any book, no matter how obtuse it may be. But I can’t see wasting more time on this.

I think somewhere in my distant past I’ve read this. I’m early in the book, but it seems about a four star read so far.

I don’t think I’ve ever done this in my life, but I have to stop. This book, while interspersed with some mildly interesting factoids, is quite possibly the most boring book I’ve ever tried to read. There just seems no point to it. I’m out!

Pretty good so far. Some parts are compelling and some make me think ol’ Coop was being paid by the word. But I enjoy the story as it unfolds as well as imagining the countryside as it existed back then.

I just finished The Sisters Brothers and gave it 5 stars. I'd score DeWitt about 95% of a Cormac McCarthy. Maybe a touch higher since he shows a little more humor. This, unlike McCarthy's "Blood Meridian" can definitely be made into a movie. Cohen brothers directing.

Excellent, excellent book!
