So far, after reading parts 1 and two, I find myself so disappointed I don't want to read part three. I read this expecting sci-fi and time-travel, but instead got illusion and deception, and though it was not terrible and even enjoyable many times, I am very disappointed. If I read the third part and find there is actually sci-fi and time-travel in this stupid book I will be very put out!

So far, it's a bit boring. It has not really caught or peaked my interest yet.

So far I've been skipping chapters that I find uninteresting and unimportant, like on the kettral island. I despise Adare and wonder how one person can consistently be so stupid and such a puppet. At least the author has finally made Valyn good at something. I don't know what he was going for with these characters but they are just sad.

Again only one of the three heroes seems even slightly competent or wise. They are mostly inept, unwise and barely making any sense and yet the author expects the readers to be rooting for these kids? Hmm... Also this book seems to have a bit of GoT stuff in it.

I have reached the start of part 2 but I have to stop because I have to return the book to the library. I will check it out again later when I actually have time to read it.

So far, this book is very boring. I thought it was a fantasy novel, but it's not really. Very disappointing.

So far, this is the best book of the series. Unlike the others, it's not boring until just when you get to the last few chapters. The rest of the book is actually interesting.

This book is so boring.

This second book in the Red Sun series, has everything and the kitchen sink in it, most of it not making much sense or fitting into whatever is the damn plot of this book. Why am I torturing myself I wonder?

So far, this book is truly boring and pointless. I keep reading hoping to come to something really exciting, or at least a point to it all.

I am restarting this book a year later because I am hoping it gets better and I can finish the series.

This book was not as exciting as the first one.

It was not great. The hero had too many flaws and was too clueless most of the time.

This is different from what I usually read but I did find it very interesting.
