This author reminds me of T. Kingfisher. Enjoying so far.

Very detailed and long! Recommend if you love this period and subject otherwise it will be overwhelming with all the details.

Lengthy descriptions and ambiguous pontificating

Good read. It reminds me of Big Little Lies - 3 main families, elementary school, secrets, and a murder.

Fairly good account of Queen Victoria’s early years as a monarch.

The story was somewhat stale and predictable however I had the good fortune to opt for the audiobook version. Imagine a story narratived by Col Sanders. Very entertaining especially when reading the female characters. Thankfully it was a short read as I was craving fried chicken for the duration.
