Amish has a natural flow of story telling, especially setting up the story. Been long since I last went through a third of the book so quick.

Wow, why did I stop reading Connelly, especially the Lincoln Lawyer series. The whole setup of the story is brilliant. The pace is perfect. And it just doesn't want to pause. A perfect mystery thriller. Wish it stays this way!

I am more than two thirds into this book and am still waiting for something to happen. I still don't understand where the story's headed. So unlike any other book from Agatha. I now just want this to get over I guess.

It started out strongly, but it's rambling on currently - especially since the lecture on values began.

I am enjoying this a lot. There's so much to learn. No doubt, I enjoy writing fiction. But it is the non-fiction that I (and most people) write more. I am intentionally reading it slow; I want to make sure I grasp every point, small and large.

The characters have me gripped with the conflicts they have to live through. To be frank, it is only in the recent chapters that Harry's story gripped me. Annie and her thread has me hooked throughout. I can appreciate how similar both the threads are, even though they are physically too disparate.

The story has started really strong, very gripping right from the beginning. I haven't been able to put down the book till now. Suspense is really woven well. Excited to follow along!

I am enjoying the book -- and there's just so much to learn. Presented in a very helpful way. I am taking it slow because I want to make sure I grasp more of this.

Intriguing as always, the story moves as the mystery deepens. Of course, the master of weaving mysteries at work.

I rarely highlight so many of the snippets in a book, but Backman is a genius at word play. Makes me stop and admire what he has written so many times.

Backman is master at building characters in beautiful words. May not be traditional, but is intelligent. Natural.

I am so intrigued by the plot, pulls me back to the story. Unfortunately, writing leaves me wanting.

Reading had been slow. The slow storyline in the book too didn't help. Hope, this scenario improves soon.

Some books make you go "what the heck is going on here". And then there are others that make you go "what the heck is going on here". Others, you love. I am loving this.

Very few books make me root for the central character. Ove has me hooked.. am with him for a fun ride!

Never have I been so tired of a book early on. Too many threads, too much information of not much importance. And did I say too many threads? Open?

Typical Haller - fun breezy read. Interesting as usual.

"Typical Poirot." Wish I could have said that for every one of these stories. But alas.

This is turning out to be such an interesting read. Has me hooked. A plot and a hero so unlike the typical ones. Promising start.

Master of slow mysteries at work. Has managed to keep be thrilled around the slowly unraveling past. But bring on "that" guy. Where has he gone?

Was reading fine, but it is quickly going downhill. Clueless.
