I'm not getting anywhere fast with this book, but I've been too stubborn to quit it entirely.

I started Grimes' series so long ago--fresh out of high school!--and read several over the years. But now I can't remember which I've read so I'm poking about in her back catalog, playing catch up. This one's a Christmas mystery, perfect for a November read.

Listening to the audiobook, which is narrated by the author himself

Starting this book up again for 2021. Looking to shift my view this year and improve life in general.

Second try at this audiobook. I'm having some trouble settling into reading during the pandemic.

In audio, under the title "Dry Bones".

Not currently holding my interest. Might set aside until we get more snow.

Um, okay, but I'm beginning to think I'm going to hate the book.

Dated, yet somehow timely. Leisurely paced memoir where Hawes describes how the fashion industry of the early 20th century became the race to the bottom that now exists.

Third time's a charm? With such an intractable protagonist, it was slow getting into the rhythm of this.

I'm listening while I knit. Don't think I'd stick with the book, but the audio version is really enjoyable and suspenseful.
