Michio Kaku is one of our more entertaining science writers, but in this book about current brain research, I am enjoying the facts more than his speculations.

The most impressive thing about this book is that it was written by a teenager. I would recommend this for young readers, but less for adults.

A decent fantasy epic with the formulaic orphan-boy-turned- hero plot device, it is keeping me interested....

After reading a desperately murky novel from the 1920s I am turning to this one for a little R & R and a little fun. I had heard about it, and found it on a school bookshelf.

A little bit slow, much better if you have been to Mexico and know some Spanish....

Re-reading this one. Short and sweet, and more revealing this time around. Written in that penetrating 19th century style. A masterpiece.
