Pretty good. The first book deals with such a heavy and cataclysmic change, that it’s hard to recreate that same life-altering change that kept the attention of the reader the first time around. This book deals with rebuilding, which is admittedly not as “exciting” as the event on “The Day”. It’s natural in its own sequence of events, but simply doesn’t have the same “sexiness” as the first book.
