I wish it was this easy to pitch an unscripted series and get filming permits to start shooting immediately. All the tv production stuff was totally inaccurate but I’m here for love so I will get over it. Is this what health workers feel like when watching Grey’s Anatomy?

I’m not going to finish this. The FL is so infantilized by the men in her life that I just can’t keep going.

Also, how is this guy the Captain for a NHL team and he’s always around? Road games, events, training, camps… this dude is literally always around and trying to control her!!!

1. The AHL team is in Grand Rapids.
2. Muskegon’s team is in the USHL, where I worked for two seasons as a cam op after college.

I was up til 3:30am reading this book. That’s the review.

I cannot do it. I tried. I did. I hate the way this is written. The language and syntax feels all wrong for the story. The voice feels very inexperienced with writing.

The man lead is such a gross, misogynist. He shows up, totally disrespects her and then hires her to a job without even telling her what it is or getting any sort of real consent.
This is going on DNF.

The title has be on the defense because it’s so unimaginative. I also typically do not like the single parent trope. But I’m hear for a black author and an interracial romance.

In one chapter, they refer to her as a personal assistant and another it’s back to her being a P.A. Also omg, the part where she says she got the locals hired to be background so it made them on with the film. First, this is NORMAL. Hiring locals for background is what most productions do. There’s literally nothing innovative happening here.

Is this how doctor’s feel when watching Grey’s Anatomy?

I cannot get over how inaccurate the production is and I’m still early in this book.

A PA isn’t going to lock locations on a medium-high budget feature.

Filming permits…this director is not big time enough for the producers to not care about the last minute change.

Are you kidding me with the music supervisor being on set during filming?!

Tessa Bailey did not even google basic film production info.
