Boring. Atrocious. Finishing one chapter is equivalent to overdosing on melatonin gummies. I found myself 'scanning' rather than reading. Reading a book-long footnote by Danielewski or DFW in 8-point text size would be a much more rewarding and enjoyable experience. Modern day Sisyphus' mountain.
Dnf for now. Might read one chapter a week and see if my views would change.
