This introduced me to a side of C. S. Lewis that I knew existed but had not experienced, the Oxford don who specialized in Medieval literature. It's quickly becoming my favorite of his books, at 5 chapters in.

This is quickly becoming my favorite book by C. S. Lewis. It shows a side of him I had not seen. This is not the author of the Narnia books, the Screwtape Letters, or the science fiction trilogy. This is the Oxford don, the specialist in Medieval literature, waxing eloquent on his field. Much deeper than anything else of his I've read.

Starting over, since it is our current book club choice.
