To be honest, I'm almost a quarter of the way through and still barely able to follow all the names and the history in this book. It's a little difficult to follow, but good nonetheless.

I've been flying through these since each plot is the same, just with different characters. But I just threw up in my mouth a little when the author actually referenced her own books by having a a character read one of them. REALLY??

I picked up this book because I'd spotted it on several "must read" lists and all the reviews said it would capture your attention immediately. While it did immediately suck me in, I'm now almost a third of the way through and bored out of my mind. The narrative is way too wordy, no matter how well written.

It's very strange to know Colin Firth played Mark Darcy, yet Bridget is also meeting Colin Firth in the book. Weird.

I'm about halfway through and enjoying it, but Gabaldon is so descriptive when it comes to scenes involving wine, that I find myself making plans to visit the nearest wine shop on the way home...
