Great plot and lots of potential…but somehow misses the mark in the last part.

Meh. I’ve read Reacher books so many times, I think I could write it. I love Reacher- but he needs rest. LOL

Wonderful historical fic.

Trying HARD to finish this series. It is a slog. The main character needs to poop or get off the pot. A good 1/4 of the book is her mentally rehashing ev.ery.thing. I have zero understanding HOW she exactly became an FBI agent with all her vacillating, hesitation and "intuition" being labeled as fact.

A great representation of life during this period. Definitely worth the time!

Wonderful storyteller overall, but I love the way this novel plays out on audiobook. It's like he's talking with us. I'm so impressed with his follow up and tenacity. I also appreciate how he describes what and why he would have pressed differently when he was researching for Abandoned Prayers.

This was a great book. Definitely easy to know what was going to happen, but worth the read.

This book is gutting me

This book is almost too much for me to read. Hits way to close to home with my childhood.
