I was 4 books ahead of schedule but I interrupted my reading to finally rewatch Charmed after over a decade.... took me 2 months and now I'm one book behind schedule and I completely didn't finish any book in August so that's my streak since jan 2025 broken >.< Completely worth it though. Let's get back to it tomorrow lol. At least Threshing Day is coming out this month so that will be one easy read.

So I started Gild yesterday just to see if I want to read it. I got 18 pages in and it was too much. WTF did I just read. I remember seeing reels of people raving about this series. But it just cannot be worth it... there are so many other things to read where I don't have to subject myself to a King and his harem of "saddles" WTF. I want to bleach this from my brain. Deleted it off my kindle now.

Okay I'm starting the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and I'm a bit apprehensive because of the mixed reviews but I really need to read this before I read Sunrise on the Reaping which everyone seems to love. So let's hope I love this. My kindle says it's about 517 pages... so let's see if I can finish it in.. *checks calendar* 10 days or less. We do it like homework, like we did with KoA. 50-100 pages a day, let's go.

on page 16 of this book and it's making me feel like I don't even know English I have to look up so many words >.<

So after finishing the ACOTAR series and now 4 books into Throne of Glass... I still don't get hype. I'm like enjoying it while reading but anytime I put it down and think about it for even a bit there are issues with it. And I have no urge to reread later It's enjoyable but it just doesn't have me in a chokehold the way Fourth Wing and Zodiac Academy did. I loved Assassin's Blade though. Let's see how we carry on...

So as kindle has forced me to switch from the US to the German store... I'm disappointed to find out that automated/synced updates from what I'm reading to goodreads is not possible outside the US and now I have to do it manually again. :( though even when I was still in the US store, it did not log a reread either.
