This is REAL good so far. See, that's how you write books. You don't start off all slow and shit (The Terror, looking at you). This is how you don't get flung onto the DNF pile (or in this case, shelf).

holy bonanza this is getting off to a slow start. i am remembering why I stopped reading it a few years ago. but i am trusting the reviews on this one and hoping that shit starts happening soon because i cant read boring books, i just cant.

I want to DNF but my bf got this for me and he’d be mad or sad.

I’ve always felt a sort of kinship with Cazzie David. I started following her bc of her dad, Larry David. I watched the whole series of Curb in college and I actually referred to him as my “spirit animal.” They both build their humor and persona around thoughts most people suppress like petty annoyances, overanalyzing social interactions, feeling slightly miserable even when life is objectively fine.

Pausing for now bc I’m not loving it 😬

Ok this book is terrifying so far

The story is great and I'm hooked. But I am annoyed how the MMC doesn't take anything seriously and is making everything into a joke. Even when is life and family are in danger!!! I want to slap him and say STOP!!! lol

I'm a big Rachel Harrison fan but not liking this book at all. Also, the FMC is annoying.

Goodreads is bugging out. Updated my status at page 97 and it says i finished it.

This book is so cozy so far. Ngl I’m envious of how easy Annie made a friend and got a new job! Two things i have been “yearning” for in my life for a long time. Oh well. Guess I’ll have to live vicariously in the meantime.
