My mom and I read a poem or two together each morning. LOVING this one from Lang, and not surprised, because she never disappoints. <3

This book is so well-written and really goes in depth to explain how complicated systemic racism is. I'm learning a lot, and enjoying the narrative, too.

This is my first time reading this author, and I am impressed. She has a beautiful way of writing grief and trauma in tandem with heartwarming healing.
