Any Alaskan pilot knows of Reece. They may not know, however, how good a writer. Flying North starts with a gripping encounter as suspenseful as any international thriller. The auto- biography goes on to share a growing up in the Pacific North West, logging, forrestry, smoke jumping and learning to fly illegally.
Reece tells a series of fascinating flying stories, a tender marriage with surprising literary flare.
