Alice’s story is so boring. Sabine/Maria is much more exciting though this book could be 10 times shorter.

Part 1-Chapter 3- Ugh I hate this narrator’s voice. This is a kindle book so maybe I’ll try reading it instead.

Unicorns in the Bible- this is the first point of the book and he’s already lost me. He cites Numbers 23:22 & Isaiah 34:7 as referring to unicorns but the NVSEU & NIV versions say nothing about unicorns. What is he talking about? Also- the narrator is awful

This is SO slow. Nothing is happening. Definitely more of a mystery than a thriller.

Is a book without a plot really a novel or more of an essay?

I hate the “he couldn’t possibly care about me” trope so that works have gotten together sooner than this!

The stories with the people in them are interesting. The waxing philosophical about life and earth is boring.

Raine reminds me of who Daniel Alexander is impersonating when he did his bit about Urban Fantasy. “I’m not like other girls. I wear lipstick and swear.” 🙄
