The first short story 'Laura Silver Bell' by Sheriden Le Fanu was first published in Belgravia Annual in 1872 and this story was just brilliant told. The atmosphere was gothic, unsettling and alluring. The conversations between characters although at times was a little harder to follow, it also was really endearing to me as it reminded me of an olde Yorkshire dialect, it felt like a horror set not far from home. 4*
