I just finished Fervent: A Woman's Battle Plan to Serious, Specific, and Strategic Prayer and gave it 4 stars.

"He put his pen in his pocket, then took her hand and held it to his chest for a minute. It was the nicest thing she could imagine. It made her want to have his babies and give him both her kidneys." Stinkin' adorable. :)

Yes, it is a very unlikely scenario, but Tana's writing is sooo good. Enjoying it so far.

A bit far fetched for my taste, but a good read.

I like how human Tana's characters are, and yet they are still likable.

I feel like the story is lagging a bit, but then it picks up. I do appreciate a mystery with a lot of detail though.

So far, I'm impressed with Tana French's writing. She has an ease that makes it easy to read.

Need to finish before the new year to hit my 2013 Reading Challenge!
