Not a very strong argument for social media personalities writing books, to be honest.

Pshew! I loved the autobiographical sections even more than the fast-pitch literary drop quoting. And yet, it might’ve gotten five stars without Garner’s internalized fat-phobia (which he turns on women, too). For a moment I thought I glimpsed Calvin Trillin, but nah, it slipped away!

This really should have been great, but the purple prose made me slam it shut.

Had to stop reading for a bit. #Charleston

Having the same problem with Sheffield as always--I love it SO MUCH that I don't want it to end. I have to keep forcing myself to put it down and walk away.

I love reading these so much it almost hurts. My heart aches in every other chapter!
