Sarah is starting The Upstairs Delicatessen: On Eating, Reading, Reading About Eating, and Eating While Reading
Pshew! I loved the autobiographical sections even more than the fast-pitch literary drop quoting. And yet, it might’ve gotten five stars without Garner’s internalized fat-phobia (which he turns on women, too). For a moment I thought I glimpsed Calvin Trillin, but nah, it slipped away!

Having the same problem with Sheffield as always--I love it SO MUCH that I don't want it to end. I have to keep forcing myself to put it down and walk away.
