So many stories in one!

It’s all about the setting so far- a snowy train ride where the train has stopped due to a snow storm. 🥶

I like that this one doesn’t take itself too seriously. The setting of a lodge in Alaska is so much fun for a January read!

A great first book of the year- so magical!

A little slower paced, but interesting and well written.

This book is so sweet! I want to be making jam on an island where I help all the trees with my sentient plants, too.

The audio is fantastic! Lots of great sound effects and different narrators for the news segments included throughout.

The most profound thing about this book might be that I learned Peggy is a nickname for Margaret. How did that happen? I thought it was just Maggie? No? Okay.

I’m already teary. 🥺 How are Kristin Hannah’s books always so emotional?

The overthinking this poor main character does is painful. It’s so hard to read how much she’s taken advantage of by everyone. 😖💔
