Perhaps the most simple explanation for my dislike of AI

Correlation doesn’t equal causation.

AI seems to take this statement as a suggestion. AI companies make bold and inaccurate claims and it’s damaging.

I’m sure the technology has good use, but everyone needs to slow down on it. Interested to see where the book goes.

“There is virtually no intersection between elected officials’ acting in public interest and the likelihood of their being reelected.”

So far, it’s as frustrating as I expected it might and informative as I hoped.
