susanna burney's narration is unlistenable. fortunately, it took me only 5 minutes to come across a book narrated by a favorite narrator - juliet stephenson!

i could make it no further than 3 minutes into chapter 3. susanna burney's narration is that bad.

i am loving this book. i stopped in the middle of listening to the audiobook to read reviews, to read about hoke, and to look for the availability of hoke's other books. i am enjoying the narrator. reviews say the text version is interesting too. when the paperback comes out, i'm going to get a copy.

i am listening to the 14.5 hr. audiobook narrated by the author and lalla ward.
it's a delightful all-encompassing treatment of all aspects of the sciences that shore up the theory of evolution and everything that brought it about.
i've missed a few bits, so i am going to relisten when i'm done.

this was suggested by scribd after i finished a richard dawkins book. i was going to look it up on good reads but then i saw that juliette stevens narrates it. good enough for me.
that was this morning. now i'm reading reviews and i don't think i'll subject myself to this book. even juliette stevens can't save it.

this is promising to be my most entertaining read of 2022!

I'm listening to the audiobook delightfully narrated by jonathan keeble. there are NO CHAPTERS. arghhh

i decided to reread this book after finding it on scribd. two surprises: 1.) apparently i was wrong. i had never read the book. 2.) i'm really enjoying and am surprised at how modern it is.

the majority of the savor-worthy parts are over; it's the beginning of the end. continue to pause and sing out the songs

i have to stop and sing each song as it's mentioned, then i proceed.

savoring this one
