Listening to the unabridged book on CD - just over half way, on disc 20

finally started the book again...on chapter 3 now.

Am reading Ellis Island & other stories by Mark Helprin, but the program won't let me enter it...too many titles starting "Ellis Island"

I haven't started this book yet...book club book and books from the library book sale are taking priority.

Actually I read this book last week. This book read like someone had a bad acid trip. The best part (spoiler alert!) is the description of a pear at the beginning.

I found the book in a box of Bert's papers, he knew it was there all the time!!! At least I can now read it!! :)

where did that book go? still haven't found it, so cannot read it...will have to box some books to give away, maybe find it then...

At present I'm listening to several books on CD by Stuart Woods, have listened to about four of them up to now...good whodunnits, but a little too graphic sexually, not really needed for the story...

This continues to be an interesting read with humorous segments. I will take a break from this book to read our book club book of the month.

Another very old book written in Dutch. Quite humorous in parts.

I will start reading this book when I can locate it...

actually, I'm reading "De Schuilplaats" which is the original Dutch of this book, but Good Reads kept putting in the English title, so here we are...I started it in Mexico, but then had to interrupt it to read the book club book, and am now completing it, hopefully this week... :)

this is a book club book which I must finish before I can finally start "And the Mountains Echoed"

I'm almost done this book, which I'm listening to in an unabridged form.

now I've started a book given to me for my birthday, but your day is coming...after the book club book which will follow the birthday book...sigh

so far: hilarious!

Deafening is my public library book, just not sure of the title of Bert's book...

have read a dozen books for the library, the book club book, listened to several books (unabridged) on CD, and still haven't had a chance to pick up this book!! but, I will.. I need to finish Deafening, a book Bert has out from the library, and then hope to start this one!! HONEST!!! ;)

Still planning on reading it, but have a couple to read from the public library first

This is also a very humorous read, but I read more slowly in Dutch, so it may take a while...

actually, we took this book camping and Bert is reading it first, so I haven't started yet...I'll be reading a Dutch book titled "Beekman en Beekman" first ... :D

This book is a translation from the Danish into English. Many very awkward phrases. Am enjoying the story line.
