This is getting really fun, but now I'm trapped buddy reading this and can't skip ahead 💀

I did not see that coming!!

For a retelling (or untelling as the author refers to it), I'm dreading the plot turning out the way it did in Cinderella 🫣 Hoping but not hopeful that the ending is different!!

I don't feel like reading this right now but I promised I'd finished it before the year was up so I'm doing a chapter a day til it reels me in

Why is there still so much book left 😵‍💫

I'm really not enjoying this book but I'm so close to being done so I'm powering through 😐

Delightful start to the book. I'm enjoying the characterizations so far!

The prose is inviting even if the pace is a little slow. I feel as if I'm reading a classic that meanders through moments, which is a refreshing change from the breakneck pace of fiction these days.

So far this is like Peaky Blinders set in a magical society!
