Listen, if I've gotta read 800 pages for school, I'm going to make it count towards something.

If anyone is wondering if I'm reading this because of my newfound obsession with Epic: The Musical, you are correct.

Tell me how it's possible that Kelsey could talk about her feelings between Ren and Kishan at least a dozen times in the last 200 pages and always come to the conclusion that Ren will always mean more to her than Kishan and then STILL tell Ren that she chooses Kishan. I need this book to be over.

I really wish someone in this book would dislike Kelsey as much as I do...

I'm starting to take more serious issues with this book. Kelsey is absolutely the worst person in this book. Every girl who talks to Ren is a threat and inner monologue about them is so nasty and mean. Stereotyping a blonde, thin woman from Beverly Hills to be vapid and brainless just to give Kelsey an excuse to hate her feels meanspirited and I detest that Houck sunk that low. But I'm not surprised.

I rarely use this word...but i think i hate Kelsey.

She thinks to herself "I love Ren. But I should love Kishan." And everyone around her is like, "Love whoever you want, just be happy." And then whenever Ren or Kishan ask her her true feelings she can't give them an honest or straight answer and so she's stringing these poor men along.

Also we're now up to seven men. We got a weird Texan man now. idk man

Every time Kelsey mentions that she hates curry I wish I had a pencil in my hand that I could snap in half. how dare she hate on curry. Curry is life.

We are only 4 pages in and the Big Bad Evil Guy has decided that he also finds Kelsey attractive. Her 'body' count at this point is now up to six men. SIX MEN. And you say you're plain???

Comparing himself to sharks and then saying, "No girl stands a chance after I catch the scent of her blood in the water." has given me a more ick reaction than any line before.

Why am I doing this and why am I still having fun?

It’s too fun to hate this book…but little Kenra inside is thrilled to be revisiting the drama again and for that I have to confess….im having a good time despite the dumpster fire this book is.

Kelsey dating three men is absolutely wild.
Ren being built like a Ford Truck is just making me think Reylo fans need this book.
Gifting Kelsey a box of ribbons has created such intense hatred in me. How could you Ren.

I have deemed Kelsey's hair ribbon collection and her grandmother's quilt as my nemesis. The day Kelsey fails to mention one of those two things will come far too late.

Of course Kelsey's favourite drink is ice-cold lemon water. When one is bland you have bland taste.

Rereading my favourite childhood series might be a mistake....but here we go!
