Whoops wrong edition. My copy apparently has over 1000 pages 💀

I feel like waaaaay too much stuff is happening in such a short period of time. But also there are so many time skips it has been hard to keep track. The head hopping is nice to see the different castes of their society but I also don't feel like we get enough time with any of the protagonists to really feel connected to them.

The idea that our perfect Kendra can know the precise date of the Greek Revival craze in Regency England but not know that Jane Austen initially published anonymously is laughable.

I've also never encountered the anti-eugenics argument of "eugenics is bad because it creates annoying people" but I can't disagree if Kendra is the example. Sorry girl, not a fan of you.

I've been itching for something like A Rip In Time and came across this title. It's okay so far, not a huge fan of the writing style, and I did begin to wonder if this was weirdly pro-eugenics? I'm also a quarter of the way through and she's only just jumped. Will stick it out, but I don't think it'll fill the void I'm after.

😭 Jules still is kinda awful but I feel so much for her. I can't believe how much character growth she had in like three chapters. You go girl.

This is a very fun, well executed premise but oh golly if I hear the phrase "wake Romeo" one more time I'm going to scream.

2026 is, apparently, the year of reading books adapted from video games. All three (Alan Wake, Sacred and Terrible Air and Midnight Suns) are related to some of my top games I played last year.

I'm enjoying a lot of the character interactions we didn't get to see in the game. Nico and Robbie, in particular, are incredibly sweet together.

I am almost certain the novel I have at work has a completely different prologue than the audiobook. I must investigate.

Fully obsessed with the covers in this series. If it continues to be this good I may have to buy them.

This is off to a fun start. I think I've read so many Novelettes/Novellas of late for judging that I'm kinda cooked for long form fiction. We shall see how it goes.
