It was scheduled for Book Club, but after several books that were downers, though good stories, this one was too sad. Book Club decided to read something lighter. _Last Bus to Wisdom_ was that book and was delightful

Abandoned. Couldn’t get beyond the first chapter of this slapstick farce.

Returned to library. I didn’t even start it.

I just finished Before We Were Yours: A Novel and gave it 4 stars.
I enjoyed it more than anything else I have read in a long time. The fact that it was based in truth made it even more interesting.

It is hard to believe such things happened right here in our country and that it went on for so long.
