I really enjoyed this story. Just like people in real life, the heroine wasn’t all good and the villain wasn’t all bad. And I was still trying to decide who should get the girl halfway through the book.

Okay, I’m addicted. The author and I must have grown up on the same westerns. I can see Clint Walker playing Sheriff Ben Stillman or maybe James Arness . (I cast all novels I read in my head) I grew up in the small, but historic town of Prescott Arizona. I can see the terrain to go with the cast of characters. By the way, Ben’s wife Tess is played by Catherine Zeta-Jones. Great series of books.

Very entertaining to the western novel reader. Well written characters, even the secondary ones. AND, I even have a hunch where the gold was buried. I’m addicted to Sheriff Stillman!!

A good book with an interesting central concept. How far would a man or woman go for honor? I want to read the rest of the series!

I adore Lucinda Brandt’s writing. Her characters are so well written that it is impossible for them not to come alive reading her books. What she excelled at is her male figures. Each is multi sided with each their own flaws. Satyr’s Son does not disappoint. It is a wonderful look at what love can be all about.

Trust Cheryl Bolen to write a story proving that there is a perfect match for everyone, even the literary genius in the corner. Excellent read!

I have just finished "A Beauty for the Scarred Duke". I really admire Ms. Barton's books. The plots are basic but it is the depth of the characters and their actions and reactions to the various problems they are confronted with that is fascinating. Well worth reading!

Adele Clee does it again! A highly addictive tale with more twists than a candy cane. Can't wait to read more of The Lost Ladies of London series!

Actually I finished this book. I was quite impressed with the story and characters. I enjoyed Ms. St. John's style of writing. It was a real page turner.

It took me two attempts to get past the first 30 pages, but I am very happy I made that second attempt. Because I vastly enjoyed this book. The hero, Fitz, I found to be a sarcastic fatalist. I chuckled out loud each time he referred to the heroine as "Rubarb Girl" or "Rubarbara". Very enjoyable to the end.

I just finished The Earl’s New Identity (The Regency Renegades Series 1 - Beauty and Titles) and gave it 4 stars. A brilliant start to Jasmine Ashford's "The Regency Renegades". What possible trouble could five shipmates get into during shore leave in London? Perhaps mystery, murder or the most deadly, romance? And who's secret identity is discovered along the way on Drury Lane???

Actually I just finished "Alana". I really liked it. I was swept away with Monica Barrie's post civil war story of greed, love and revenge. I fell in love with the heroines and hero. I couldn't go to sleep until I finished this book!

Actually I finished this book about 4:30 am. It's been a long time since I stayed up all night reading a book but this one captivated me. The heroine is rather unique playing with snakes rather than dolls. Reminded me of my youngest daughter. And tough!
