All I can say in response, is I have a very privileged life and am thankful for the generations of hard work that came before me.

I’m unsure how I feel about this book. But it’s definitely been on the light hearted side so remains enjoyable.

This is not the story I thought it would be. Captivating me though. And I’m enjoying the video game theme.

Read a chunk in one go. I love the way Kristin Hannah can just draw you in and ruin your soul before she’s even begun to really tell the story.

It’s had a strong start. I am able to put it down but I also want to see where it’s going.

I’m so confused as to what’s happening

Why was that the funniest and saddest scene I’ve ever imagined reading. A gender reveal party to tell the world your daughter is identifying as non-binary. Even I wanted to cower in embarrassment.

All the conspiracies of what will happen are cycling through my head but the reality is I’ll never work it out until Alice Feeney is ready to let me work it out.

This second part was action packed and had me smiling so much. Curious how it’s going to end for the second book.

This is definitely YA fantasy. But surprisingly I’m not hating it.
Felt like a slow start but it’s started going now.
