Very hard book to read about the horrors of concentration camp life during WW II and what people had to do to survive. That this story is based on actual people makes it a very compelling book

Great historical fiction starting with the beginning of WWI and how the war to end all wars was horribly fought with poor decisions made resulting in millions of deaths. This part one of the Century Trilogy follows five families and the consequences of their part in current events. Looking forward to reading the next book.

Great story about Astronaut Mark Whatney who is left stranded on Mars after a freak accident. His crew mates thought he had died. With his ingenuity he cobbles together a way to survive and hope he can communicate to earth that he is alive

This is a great story of the US 1936 Olympic 8 man rowing crew. It goes into great detail about the journey of the team especially Joe Rantz. The author did a lot of extensive research to accurately bring the history of this time to be a part of this story.
