So far, so good. Favorite so far has been 'Wood Shop After Math'. Least has been 'Mommy's Big Boy' and I didn't really get 'Glory'. I got the concept but not what exactly was doing what and why. Sorry to be so vague, don't want to give away spoilers. On 'Group Therapy' right now.

Wow, with all the build up to the mining accident I expected more than just a one sentence explanation. It started out good, a bit slow, but a good build up. I have a bad feeling it's going off the rails here though. We've got a secret cult, a 'canister' of some sort from an ancient civilization, containing a mind-monster? of some sort.

Wow, they certainly like to throw names at you quickly.

I like it so far but some might find it a little slow in the first half.

Colette is still annoying and has improved very little for how much the book has progressed. I'm hoping to be done with this very soon. I highly doubt it'll end the way I want it to but we'll see. Ugh. This is being quite the slog.

Not feeling it at all. Colette is a very hard character to like. She's image conscious, judgmental and spoiled. And, to top it off, very insensitive and wrapped up in herself. I'm getting near the end and I don't really like her any better than I did when I started the book

They draw some very interesting parallels between snuff film and found footage

It started out a bit dry in the intro but it's getting more interesting

The beginning was slow but it's picking up now. Too much tech jargon in intro

This is seriously one of my favorite gothic books. Mostly because it did go easy on the romance but heavy on the psychological suspense part of it.

Will this book never end!?!

So far there have been four decent stories, and I think they only seem good because some of the others are terrible. And I mean that sincerely.

This story 'The Other Musgrave Ritual? Thanks but no, I do not like horse/human sex with my horror. Thank you very much. Not to mention, Lestrade?! C'mon. Conan Doyle must be spinning like a top over this one.

A library is burning! How cruel can an author be? I cringe just thinking of it

So far I'm up in the air on this one. There have been some good stories but more meh ones.

Thank goodness, a story that has, you know, story to it & not mad raving.

This book is GREAT so far. Haven't come across a story I didn't like yet.

This book has an interesting story behind it. And I'm a sucker for ghosts.

Good Lord, this guy's a whiner

The guy is a tad ungrateful for a monetary bequest that week allow him 2 paint

Parts of the current story make no sense. For one, one of the ghost dogs he sees quite a bit before the actual day. For another, some of the descriptions are lifted from the original. But they don't fit well with this particular story.

Also ( small spoiler) her version having Lanrivain murdered makes no sense.

The end of the first story is copied almost word for word from the original.
