2. Old friend, we're meeting once again; this is my third time reading "Longtemps, je me suis couché de bonne heure" and this time, I hope I can breeze my way till the end ("breezing" 'cause Proust is THAT good).

Didn't know Lolita(the book, not the kid ;) ) was so THICK. So far, so good! It's f*cked up, mysteriously descriptive and I'm HERE for it!

To Mrs. Ramsay: don't revere Mr. Ramsay, pretty please. People like him seem to be 'great', 'smart' and all that but I actually think they're the WORST and part of the problem of suffering in the world. So, you are beautiful and he's just is pitiful.

Ik lees boeken om eraan herinnerd te worden dat het goede het kwade overwint, telkens weer. Als dat niet gebeurt, wat heeft lezen dan nog voor zin? Herinnering aan mezelf: eerste twee boeken 5 sterren, dit boek 4 of 3.

Intrigerend in de letterlijke zin van het woord. En schandalig op een aparte (maar wel leuke?) manier..
