Cleaning up read list - don’t recall if I finished it…

Didn’t finish it.

So glad this one finally arrived in the library online shelf. Equally ecstatic that it’s an enjoyable read. Somewhere I read a review that it was a parallel to Steinbeck’s ‘Grapes of Wrath’, but I’m not finding that in the storyline yet. I’m hooked... back to reading 😊

A page turner! Quick read, addictive story, good details on thought processes of the main characters.

Interesting start... people living underground and occasionally they are sacrificed (by a selection process that has yet to be revealed) to occasionally go above ground and clean the lens that provides a view of the earth's landscape below.....

So far, the best book I've read this year!! I'm enamored by the lively descriptions of survivalist living in the old west. The main character of the story, Lily, has just passed a teacher's exam. At the age of 15 she's riding her self-trained Mustang to the school that's 4 weeks away.....been reading all morning, can't put this book down!

Meg and her husband and children have been in the Amish home for several days now. I'm enjoying the book and look forward to finding out what decisions they make in the upcoming days.
